Are you insured?
Yes — AKO Cleaning Services carries full liability insurance. We're happy to share a copy of the certificate before any first job, especially for landlords and commercial clients who require it.
Are you WSIB covered?
Yes — we're WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) covered, which protects you from any liability if a worker were ever injured on your property. This matters more than most people realize, and it's why hiring a properly insured cleaner is always worth it.
What cleaning products do you use?
We use a mix of trusted professional-grade and eco-friendly products. If you have pets, kids, allergies, or a strong preference for green / non-toxic only — just tell us when you book and we'll bring the right kit. We're happy to use products you provide too.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes — we arrive fully equipped with vacuums, mops, cloths, and all standard cleaning products. There's nothing you need to provide unless you specifically want us to use your own supplies (which is totally fine).
How does pricing work?
Every space is different, so we quote based on the actual job — square footage, number of rooms, what type of clean, and how often. There are no hidden fees and no surprise add-ons. Send us a quick message or call, and we'll give you a free, honest quote within 24 hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept e-transfer and cash. For recurring office and monthly home cleaning, we keep it simple with regular e-transfer on your scheduled cleaning day.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
Not at all. Most of our regular clients give us a key, a lockbox code, or buzz us in remotely. We're trusted in dozens of homes across the GTA and treat every space like it's our own. If you'd rather be home, that's also fine.
What's your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours notice on cancellations or reschedules. Life happens — last-minute changes are fine occasionally, but repeated same-day cancellations may incur a small fee to cover the booked time slot.
Do you offer same-day or emergency cleans?
Sometimes — depending on the day. Call us as early as possible and we'll do our best. Move-outs and turnovers are often time-sensitive and we try to be flexible when we can.
